This school project was a hypothetical traveling/satellite exhibit for the Rosenbach Library and Museum in Philadelphia, an institution that houses historic books, manuscripts, illustrations, and more. This particular exhibit focused on Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, two famous manuscripts that have been featured by the museum. These two in particular were chosen both because of their prominent place in pop culture and their appeal to a wide variety of audiences. The left-hand “page” of each model was a 3D pop-up book style illustration that was meant to be eye-catching to all ages and immediately give the viewer an idea of what the exhibit was about. The right-hand “page” featured brief biographical information about the author and some history of the manuscripts at the museum, while the back of each “book” had a map and directions to the main museum building from the satellite location.
