This school project focused on packaging design, in particular multi-part rigid packaging. The prompt was any kind of gift set, so I chose to do a Gourmet Hot Chocolate Kit with various flavorings, mix-ins, and a mug. A lot of gift set packaging uses a lot of wasteful plastic, so I wanted to take a more sustainable route and used all recyclable cardboard and paper for the main structure and interior organization, reusable aluminum tins for the mix-ins, and the only single-use plastic being the marshmallow bag.
