This project was for a Typography class at Drexel University. We were tasked with creating a magazine article focusing on one famous site in Philadelphia, and to use our own original photography of that site. I chose to highlight Reading Terminal Market, a popular downtown market housed in a building that used to be a train station. I used a mix of sharp, vibrant photos and intentionally blurry long-exposure photos to convey the frenetic energy that the always-crowded market has. The text for the cover is actually masked directly from the famous neon sign that marks the main entrance, and each interior spread highlights a different aspect of the market.
