This was a school project during my time at Drexel University, focusing on restaurant branding. Our challenge was to create and brand a concept for a restaurant based on an artist, so I chose to develop a French Café-style restaurant inspired by the work of Edgar Degas, famous for his paintings of ballet dancers. I used classically-inspired calligraphy and intricate shapes to help convey an old-world feel and the motion of ballet. I typically tend towards a more modern, minimalist approach to design, so this was a fun challenge to go a little more over the top.
